Sorry for the late comic, Vance didn't send me anything today so I decided to take it into my own hands. This comic comes from the fact that I'm running an ATI X700 graphics card, which is not too far behind the curve. Because ATI chose to support Pixel Shader 2.0b on that model as opposed to 3.0, I can't play the Bioshock demo until they release a patch.
This bothers me greatly not just because of ATI's decision to support an older standard for that generation of video cards, but because I can't play a new game on my computer (at least for now). This hurts me as a geek and a gamer. I don't need to have the fastest rig around, but I should at least be able to play everything out there at moderately decent settings. This will teach Vance to take everything with him when he leaves...
