This week's comic is, sadly, derived from real life instances... not only Reese's more recent encounter (which I will leave for him to explain) but my own personal experiences as well. It's amazing how earth shattering a reaction can be to a person who's spent the past month or so building the courage to make a move, makes one not want to put forth the effort anymore.

But onto a lighter note... I started school again this week and must say I am overjoyed with my class selection this round about. They are possibly the hardest classes I've had to date, all conveniently rolled into a nervous breakdown.

First thing I have to say is the comic isn't entirely accurate. She didn't technically laugh. Just the same, anyone who turns someone down in such a manner isn't really a person I'd want to be dating, so I guess that means problem solved ahead of time. I still haven't figured out why it seems so hard to ask out a person you haven't met before. I mean, if they totally reject you (see comic) and you don't know them, what do you care? I'm not sure, but it is discouraging just the same.

Other than that, my week has gone pretty good. Got in a game of Racquetball on Saturday and also unlocked some more characters in Naruto. I've also been working on my lightning sorceress in Diablo II. She is 56 now and halfway through Act V in Nightmare. Just a bit further and she'll be my first character to get to Hell (legitimately, no powerleveling).
